Welcome! If you couldn’t tell from that catchy domain name, this blog is dedicated to my four-decades-long journey on this earth as a non-gender conforming rebel. From being AFAB (assigned female at birth) and being raised as what our society labels a “girl” I have experienced many layers to my identity over the years to land where I am today. Now, I am finally creating a space to tell my story – not just as an individual in transition- but from a place of vulnerability in respects to all facets of my life. From a young age, I always enjoyed writing, but figured I could only be an author if I published a book! The really neat thing about that is, come to find out, you can actually do whatever the fuck you want and stop trying to fit yourself inside a box designed by others. Growth happens when you step out from comfort and familiarity; when you step outside of the box to consider:
“maybe it is okay to question this”
“maybe it is okay to not be like everyone says I should be”
“maybe this is who I am.”
I can tell you with one-hundred percent certainty that, this is exactly who I am.
I’ve always considered myself an open book, and now, I am excited to share my life story as a published blog.
So, strap in and strap on for an intimate, humorous, and sometimes traumatic journey from the beginning and how I became to be a tom boy in transition.
